PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Cash Van Operator transfer goods from the warehouses to businesses for the purpose of re-sale. The job may include filling out papers, loading and unloading goods, and communicating with customers.

Responsibilities

• The most important duty of a Cash Van Operator is to drive safely to their destinations.
• Drivers are also expected to help with the loading and unloading of their products, keep logs of their activities and make sure their vehicles are maintained in good working order.
• Make sales and accept payment for services & products and handle other paperwork related to the delivery.
• Responsible for obtaining new customers along a delivery route.
• Ensure accurate cash and stock balances daily.

Skills and Knowledge

• Numerical Skills.
• Applicants should have a sense to take own initiative.
• Applicant should be neat, well spoken, courteous and work well with little supervision.
• A satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and Trustworthy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least Grade 12
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the field / similar position.
• Valid Driver Licence with PDP.
• Code of Conduct
