PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The driver will be responsible for driving Wutow’s own fleet of trucks and will do the loading and off-loading of products to clients. To ensure timeous, safe, and break-free deliveries, and to ensure that the trip documentation is dealt with according to procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:

• Ensure timeous and accurate delivery of stock to various customers.
• Ensure appropriate documentation (POD) is in line with delivery procedure, completed and
  returned upon delivery.
• Ensure safe custody/Parking of the Truck/Vehicle to prevent theft and damage of stock.
• Adhere to company’s driving time always.
• Ensure that vehicle is always neat and tidy.
• Up lift and return of second grade stock on instruction from Management.
• Assist with loading and off-loading of stock.
• Assist management as required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a driver.
• In possession of an unendorsed and valid driver’s license Code: C1; C; C1E; CE with Valid Professional Authorisation (PA)
