PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of this position is regular maintenance and repair of the company’s property.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.)
• Repair equipment or appliances.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
• Identify and report the need for major repair.
• Conduct repairs on equipment such as furniture, doors, and windows.
• Assemble and install fixtures such as shelves, curtains, and cabinets.
• Manage inventory of repair supplies and equipment and ensure that all stocks are replenished as
  needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections carried out.
• Clean windows, gutters, pavement, and other exterior surfaces.
• Follow workplace health and safety rules.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• The ideal candidate will have Grade 12.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Be prepared to work odd hours and overtime if required to
