PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Hit Team driver is a support to the Retail Field Team and OPS. Daily execution of displays and sales objectives in line with agreed sales standards, planograms, and forward share targets.

Responsibilities

• The most important duty of a Hit Team Driver is to drive safely to their destinations.
• Drivers are also expected to help with the loading and offloading of their products, keep logs of their activities and make sure that their vehicles are maintained in good working order.
• Make sales and handle other paperwork related to the delivery.
• Assisting with fixing the store merchandising against agreed sales objectives, promotions, and forward share objectives (Displays, gondolas, and forward share).
• Receiving POS, sorting and sending out.
• Assisting with the display of products in such a way that it stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase.
• Assisting the field team
• Looking for opportunities in stores to promote sales
• Catalogue stock counts, if requested, to support quick order generation and
• Follow up and control of EDI order execution, if requested
• Assisting with planogram implementation and rotating warehouse stock in line with FIFO stock rotation principles.
• Can do claims preparation to support timeous weekly claims processing in line with agreed returns policy and targets.
• Support stock receipts and offloading and review delivery against placed orders. Check stock shelf-life parameters on delivery.

• Comply to Health, Safety and Hygiene stipulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least Grade 12
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the Field or similar position.
• Valid Driver’s License with PDP.
• Code of Conduct
