PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the Receiving Manger, this role involves inspecting reworks and inbound storage stock, as well as managing the movement of items to and from these areas to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect and verify the quality of reworked items.
• Monitor and control the movement of stock between reworks and to shelves.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and stock movements.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the management.
• Document any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inventory movements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of reworks and inbound storage stock to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and any issues that arise.
• Perform regular stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to ensure product freshness.
• Report any damaged stock or inventory variances promptly.
• Assist with monthly stock-taking and cycle counts.
• Meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to picking efficiency, inventory accuracy, and data entry accuracy.
• Provide regular updates and reports on picking activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• The ideal candidate will have Grade 12.
• At least 2 years Warehouse experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Be prepared to work odd hours and overtime if required to.
